Have you ever been King fishing and and the only baits you have are Large Blue Runners or Ladyfish and your bait rigs are only for small Threadfins? You may try to twist another stinger to the existing one but the boat is rocking and rolling. It's hard to do. Eric Beers, a local jeweler and tournament fisherman in St. Petersburg Beach, Fl., was making rigs for an upcoming Kingfish tournament and invented a new attachment for this purpose. The Stinger X Tender. It has a small loop on the lead end with a 4x treble hook on the other. You just slide the loop over your swivel and slide it down over the bait hook and it locks on to the treble hook making
it a double stinger. If you want a triple, then slide one X Tender over the first one and then slide the double X Tender over your swivel and lock it on to the existing treble stinger. This whole process takes about 10 seconds.
